So lately I have had the urge to work on my wedding album. I guess it could be simply the fact that I am coming up on our 10 year anniversary this year. Who knows?! Regardless, I have put out some really beautiful pages thanks to the designers who create such amazing kits to use. This page, which reflects our first dance as a married couple, uses a kit by Aimee Harrison Design Studios, Snips and Snails, and SKrapper Digitals called Everlasting. This kit is amazing. It embodies love and the sentiment of lasting forever. It is on sale in Aimee’s Digital Scrapbooking Studio Store as individual pieces and also as a bundle with stacked papers, QP’s, clusters, alphas, and glitters! It is a really great deal you shouldn’t pass up if you are like me and have some photos you love that you want to do justice with a beautiful kit. So here is the preview of the bundle (which is linked to the store) and a preview of my page I made using it.

Bump In the Night….
Have you ever had one of those dreams when you just can’t tell what is real and what is imagined? I seem to be having an awful lot of them lately and it is really freaking me out. So I started trying to train myself to say things aren’t real when I see stuff like that. You know when you dream about zombies and then they just aren’t going away when you wake (yeah so maybe I shouldn’t watch so much of the Walking Dead or Resident Evil) and it really scares you because they are just everywhere? Well, it got me thinking today about my poor little boy who has night terrors almost as much as me. What do you tell a 2 year old who is having this problem? Maybe nothing, but soon he will be able to learn to tell the difference if he is lucky so I thought I would put a page in his memory book of random stuff I am making. Who knows maybe it will help him out some day. Then I thought about all the designers I work with and realized that Jen (Jen C. Designs) just released a kit called “Bump In the Night” and thought wow it’s perfect. You really need to look into this kit. It’s so cute! So here is my page, and the preview for her kit and the Just Journaling Templates which can be found at Jen’s Personal Store or Jen’s Funky Playground Store.

Lucky Me
So today I posted a page I made with the cutest kit. It’s called Lucky Me by Studio4 Designworks. This is a beautiful kit in shades of green and grey. But that isn’t the only color. There are splashes of pale pink in there too to help break up the monotones. Even without the pink I love the kit. There is something refreshing about variations of a single color. It sort of takes the pressure off. It made me think of what makes me feel lucky. Wasn’t hard thoughts either…. it’s my son and my husband. They are what make me feel lucky. So here is my page and a preview of this kit which can be found at both Digiridoo Scraps and Digidesign Resort.

My Everyday Life
Have you ever had one of those days when things just seem to frazzle you? Today was like that for me. I don’t know why, maybe a blood sugar issue or something, but I just couldn’t keep my head straight. I sorta felt like I was drunk half the day. Don’t I wish? LOL! Sometimes, I can get something productive done without going bananas and I think today I managed to pull it off. I worked with a Facebook Fan Freebie from Simple Girl Scraps today called My Everyday Life. For those of you who don’t know, Theresa gave away a freebie ( it’s on sale in the stores now) on her facebook page when she hit 1000 fans. I loved the kit, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around anything when I got it. I am very pleased to say that today I found the perfect use for it. I used this kit to scrap about my stressed out day pages. Even better, I used it for the March Mouse Pattern Challenge at Scrapping Fairytales. I can’t wait for you all to see this! So here is my page, the template preview (linked to the thread for it if you want to play with it) and the linked previews for the stores where the kit is sold.

Butterflies and Blossoms
As hard as it is to believe that an area which is 99% rain could get snow, it’s even harder to believe that it would get it several times in a single season. When we moved to Washington I was told not to expect anything other than rain. I thought for sure we would have snow, but they always said we were in the wrong spot for snow. So I resigned myself to rain again. Then this year we had a big snow storm in January. I was ecstatic! Imagine how I felt when it snowed not one more time, but two more. Then I am sitting here at my desk a few days ago trying to recover from my finals I finished this past weekend and BOOM! Snow again! And here it is the middle of March. I was flabergasted. Then it got me thinking about spring and I got totally inspired. Farynar’s Wings has a kit out called Butterflies and Blossoms. It coordinates with the FPD March Playgroup collab called That Spring Feeling. She even did a mini for it! This kit has so many bright pastels and flowers it instantly made me remember all the woldflowers that grew everywhere in Germany. So I used her beautiful kits to show off my photos from all those years ago (ok so it was more like 4 years ago). Here is my page along with linked previews of her kits for your viewing pleasure. I even included the full size photos for you which I used in the page. I took them myself and they started me on a wonderful journey to the landscape photography I love now! Now I am off to enjoy some more relaxing and think about the great times we had in Germany!
